Good day!

| Objectives

Established at UQAM since 1993, the Social Psychophysiology Laboratory is interested in a variety of topics related to emotions. The Social Psychophysiology Laboratory aims to employ psychophysiolocal measures in the study of social processes. Research focuses on the social factors that influence emotion communication. In this context, we study the role of stereotypes on the decoding of facial emotionnal expressions and the influence of display rules on both encoding and decoding of emotions. Other areas of interest include social coordination in emotion expression, the influence of in-group versus out-group status on the understanding of emotions, and the study of emotions at the work place.

Isn't is nice?
